CHAINLINK FENCING INNOVATIVE DESIGN AWARD
The Chain Link Fencing Association (ACLFA) has announced that it is accepting applications for the inaugural Chain Link Fencing Innovative Design Award.
The Association is keen to provide acknowledgement to projects which incorporate innovative use of chainlink fencing materials on commercial, industrial, sporting or institutional projects.
The advent of lighter, stronger, load bearing tube and flexible pipe fittings has allowed designers to break away from designing structures which are only restricted to following straight lines incorporating right angle corners.

The Awards will feature uniquely-designed plaques to be awarded to the fence designer and the installing contractor with a cash award of $1,000 to be shared between the designer and contractor.
The Association seeks the support of members and our fencing colleagues to bring examples of innovative use of chain-link fabric to our attention in order that we can stimulate increased use of these materials on future fencing projects.
Applications must be received by the end of August to allow the judging to be finalized and the award announced with the presentations made at the AWIA conference in Surfers Paradise in October 2010.
